Basic of PNA & Instructive Art Course
Dates of class: 27/10, 29/10 and 30/10
Service Description
The Associate Instructor course is for anyone who is interested to learn more techniques and eventually go on to teach Pastel Nagomi Art. No prior experience is actually needed as the first few pieces in the course cover the basic techniques as well. Total Duration: 20-24 hours (depending on class’s progress) in total. Cost: $1300 per pax. Includes material cost and application fee (to be paid to JPHAA). Format: Demo and apply. This will be done piece by piece. There’s a total of 23 pieces to complete for the course. 20 pieces during the course itself (2 are likely to be designated as homework) and 3 more self-conceptualised assignment pieces. Assignments: A) 3 pieces of self-conceptualised art work based on 3 given themes after completion of the course. These 3 pieces must display some of the techniques taught. B) A reflection short answer worksheet, based on the art form’s origins and intentions (taught in the course) and your own reflections. I will submit the above assignments to JPHAA for you to apply for certification. Material: An Associate Instructor Course Pack containing the necessary art material and a copy of the manual will be provided. As the assignments are based on the colours in the Sakura Novel Carre pastels, a box set of the Sakura Nouvel Carre pastels will also be included. Certification: Students will be awarded with a Diploma in “Basic of Pastel-Nagomi-Art & Associated Instructive Art Course” and an instructor license card issued by the official JPNA body, the Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA). It will take about 3-4 months after the assignments and application have been sent to Japan for you to receive your certificate and license card in mail.
